Tilda With Daffodil Basket

Hi everybody!

It's Monday once again I hope all of you are geared up for this week. As for me, well I'm looking forward to having a good time with my childhood friends whom I will be seeing in the middle of the week. It's been years since we have all been together so I hope our neighbors in the condo will not be filing any complaints for the noise we will be making on this day.. lol..

I have been working with a few cards in between doing my projects for the next Magnolia Ink magazine. So here's Tilda With Daffodil Basket for all of you :) ...

Something different for Valentine's Day..

Hi everybody..
I am making cards like a mad woman these past few days and I love it! I guess retirement is becoming me.. lol..
And speaking of the love day,  I thought I'd give it a little spin by not using the usual red or pink. Why not use a fave color of mine? Green!

Tilda With Big Tulip
Materials: Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned Papers: Basic Grey; Pins: Maya Road; Flowers: iamroses; Distress Glitter, Liquid Pearls, Stickles; twine
Stamping: Tilda With Big Tulip from With Love Collection; Memento Ink; Copic Markers; Xpress it Blending Card
Tools: Magnolia dooHickeys; Spellbinders; Simon Says Stamp dies

I used Distress Dry Glitter in Rock Candy in the Spellbinder scroll. I love this product! It's not so shiny like the regular glitter but it gives your project a sparkle like german glass glitter without the heavy texture. Love this product!

That's it for today! Thanks for dropping by :)

Love.. love... love...

Valentine's day is coming in a few days, have you started doing your valentine projects yet?

I do not have a valentine (insert tear.. haha..) but I do enjoy the folly of the day like random people greeting you, maybe an extra treat in the restaurants on that day.. I might spend the day catching up with single friends too and maybe indulge ourselves in some cupcakes and coffee..

Here's a card for all of you. I love the versatility of Magnolia Stamps! A lot of the collections coincide with the season like Christmas, Easter, or maybe occasions like Birthdays and Weddings. But you can always use the stamps for any season or occasion! Like this little beauty from the With Love collection. I used Tilda with Heart Arrows for a Hello card to be sent to my postcrossing handmade card partner.. Hope she likes it :)

Tilda With Heart Arrows

This is the Danville Wreath from Simon Says Stamp - it's really cute :)

Notice anything new in my Copic coloring? lol.. I changed it up again and tried something new.. I may stick to this for a while and then experiment again..

A new collection is coming up from Magnolia called Little Easter. Oh! I am so excited to see everything :)

Thanks guys for stopping by :)

The Reason for the Season..

.. is because Jesus Christ our Saviour is born ..
I have received my DT package from Magnolia this week and I was very excited to do a lot of coloring and card making with the new Nativity Collection stamps. I absolutely love this collection so much - being Catholic - as the nativity scene is a big part of our Christmas celebrations. In Manila, Philippines majority of households always have a nativity scene included in their Christmas decorations. And of course we have a nativity play as well :)
I'd like to share a card with all of you today to showcase Tilda as Mary with the baby Jesus. This image just warms my heart :) This card is also especially made for the Magnolia fans from Japan - did you guys know that our dear Tilda and Edwin are so loved in Japan? Isn't that just cool :) I also love Japan! I hope I can go to this magical place in my lifetime.

Tilda With Holy Baby

Mangolia Mania Challenge - Ribbon or Lace

Hi everybody!
What happens when you don't update your blog for a week? More cards that is :)
A week ago I bought a few meters of these acetate lace from a local craft store here in Singapore. I opted for white because at least I can color it with some mists to conform with any color to coordinate the cards I am making. Although, I am not sure if I can actually mists acetate lace... But hey, white is a pretty safe color so I am good to go :)
Here's my entry for the Magnolia Mania Challenge

One Card, 3 Challenges

Hi!
This is my first time to join 3 wonderful Magnolia stamp challenges and it's also my first time to do one card to qualify. Challenges are fun because it makes you do things that you wouldn't normally do, in my case using pink. I'm not really a fan of the color pink but I have several pink scrap stuff and these challenges are good outlets to use the product.
Here is my card submitted to the following scrap challenges:

Happy Birthday
Materials: Bazzill Cardstock, Basic Grey papers, Kaiser Craft Pearls
Stamping: Magnolia Stamp, Copic Blending Paper, Copic Markers
Others: Spellbinder Die cut, MFT die cut,  Misc Ribbon, Felt, Mitsubishi pen, Distress Ink

TOMIC number 3

Hi Guys!
The week rolled by so quickly and work was super busy as per usual.. :) .. But that didn't stop me from picking up my Magnolia and playing!
I have been viewing a lot of blogs dedicated to Magnolia stamps and I am so amazed with the overflowing creativity so many crafters have! I know in time I will be able to catch up but for the meantime I am just sticking to my gut and do my thing (add to the fact that I am still waiting for some supplies to arrive .. tee hee :) ...).
The card I made is for the TOMIC challenge no. 3 . Summer is over here in Singapore and we are now heading towards the monsoon season (although all year round we have rain on most days). It's a very simple card and I did enjoy rolling up the MFT flowers and of course coloring with my Copics. When I think of summer the first colors that pop into my head are yellow and blue, like the sun and beach water.

Hello Summer Card
Materials: Bazzill Cardstock, Collage Press & Basic Grey Papers, Basic Grey Sticker Tag, Jenni Bowlin Stickers, Prima Pearl Butterfly
Stamping: Magnolia Stamp, Copic Blending Paper, Copic Markers, Memento Ink
Tools: MFT Die, Martha Stewart Punch

A very simple cheery card for summer.
Thanks for looking!

Welcome to my Magnolia blog!

Welcome to my first Magnolia post :)
I am glad that I am now back to blogging about my arts and crafts. I am still new to the art of cardmaking since previously I am more of a scrapbooker. I have been an avid Magnolia fan for the past couple of month and I am addicted to these wonderful stamps! Add to that my newfound addiction to Copics.. :)
I am still cardlifting as I am still finding footing for my cardstyle. Sometimes I feel stumped and I find blogsurfing for Magnolia a big help!

Birthday Card
Materials: Bazzill Cardstock, Basic Grey Papers, Prima Flowers, Kaiser Crafts Rhinestones
Stamping: Magnolia Stamp, Copic Markers, Copic Blending Paper

I am also still learning to color with Copics. Sometimes it's a miss but that makes the whole process of creation fun (coz it means more stamping and coloring until I get it right :).. ).

That's it for my first post, please read on to see my first challenge entry for TOMIC

Thanks for visiting :)
