Tilda With Big Ice Cream

Hi everybody!

I made a very big faux pas today.. I greeted my brother a happy father's day today only to realize it ain't gonna happen til next week.. haha.. My brother tortured me that my age is finally catching up with me.. Well we had a good laugh anyway.. lol..

I cannot wait for my new stamps from the Special Moments collection to arrive this week :) They are just so awesome and I cannot wait to do a lot of coloring. It will keep me busy on my off hours since I am also starting work next week and I'm very excited for that as well (well, not as excited as receiving a package.. lol..).

In the meantime, here's a card I made using stamps from the With Love collection. Now, if I can eat as much sweets as Tilda and not gain a pound, I would :)

Tilda With Big Ice Cream
Materials: Cardstock: American Crafts; Patterned Papers: Magnolia; flowers: iamroses; doily, ribbon, pearl string, pistils, corrugated board, tulle, gesso, Distress Ink, Glossy Accents, Liquid Pearl, Stampendous Frantage
Stamping: Tilda With Big Ice Cream & Baked With Love from With Love collection; Xpress It Blending Paper; Copic Markers; Memento Ink
Tools: Magnolia dooHickey & Sizzix

I love coloring masked images :) In this card it seems like Tilda is sneaking in for more sweets... Don't  you just love it when your stamps tell a story like that?

Love, love the Feather dooHickey dies! And it's just so awesome that it comes in 2 sizes :) I layered flowers on the bottom of the die and cut some tulle and placed them underneath just to give it some softness.

I used Frantage on the butterfly dies and layered them up to look like they are flying. My fellow DT member Debbie Dolphin has made absolutely beautiful cards using Frantage. I am in love with the Magnolia Design papers, very romantic, very subtle, incredibly beautiful! To soften it up I applied a little bit of gesso on the papers.

Thank you so much for stopping by and have a great week ahead :)

Easter Easter!

Hi everybody!

I woke up very cranky this morning :( There are some drilling and pounding on the condo building next door that woke me up early in the morning.. Ugh.. It's a Saturday for heaven's sake! Who works on a Saturday?

But after coffee and bread, my mood changed to the better. I've been doing a lot of coloring lately and now pulling out all the mojo I have to use it for something. I have made a couple of cards and tags which will eventually be posted on the blog but for the meantime, I would like to share a tag I made using another cute stamp from the Little Easter Collection.

Tilda Decorates Easter

Hi everybody!

Hope your week is going great. Since being home for almost 3 months, cooped up in the condo, catching up on my reality show TV, I have become very lazy.. Lol .. I think retirement isn't me yet so I've been scouring the classified ads and searching for jobs that interest me.. Although I am not in much of a hurry..

Yesterday I went out to find some supplies for the next Ink magazine, which is quite an adventure. I decided to commute my way there as I am not familiar with the streets and where to park. And if any of you guys know how the streets of Manila work, then you know that it's not such an easy feat. But I enjoyed the day and I was able to get what I wanted. I may come back next week to get more supplies.

I'd like to share a card with all of you using another cutie from the Little Easter Collection. I've picked up my brush and colored the image in Distress Inks.

Hello Mr. Dashing ..

Hi guys!

This week is a good week! I received my DT package from Magnolia and I received the new stamps from the Little Easter Collection (after screaming at UPS for delaying my shipment.. yeah I'm bad like that.. lol..). The new stamps are just cute cute cute! And how about the new papers? Just gorgeous! I love the spring colors of pastels, cute eggs and chicks :) The new product of Magnolia, DooBeePops are easy to use, comes in really beautiful colors and they add quite an interest to your projects. The DooBeePops remind me of my childhood when I use to do art projects for school.

So here's a card I made using the dashing Edwin With Daffodil which is one of the stamps from the new collection..

A little gift bag

Hi guys!
How was your weekend? Mine was fun.. I spent Sunday roaming the mall but the highlight was playing in Timezone with my 3 nephews.. It was tiring but fun. We won almost 500 tickets from a bunch of games which we exchanged for toys.
Here's a gift bag for all of you. It's my first altered gift bag..

Something different for Valentine's Day..

Hi everybody..
I am making cards like a mad woman these past few days and I love it! I guess retirement is becoming me.. lol..
And speaking of the love day,  I thought I'd give it a little spin by not using the usual red or pink. Why not use a fave color of mine? Green!

Tilda With Big Tulip
Materials: Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned Papers: Basic Grey; Pins: Maya Road; Flowers: iamroses; Distress Glitter, Liquid Pearls, Stickles; twine
Stamping: Tilda With Big Tulip from With Love Collection; Memento Ink; Copic Markers; Xpress it Blending Card
Tools: Magnolia dooHickeys; Spellbinders; Simon Says Stamp dies

I used Distress Dry Glitter in Rock Candy in the Spellbinder scroll. I love this product! It's not so shiny like the regular glitter but it gives your project a sparkle like german glass glitter without the heavy texture. Love this product!

That's it for today! Thanks for dropping by :)

I miss you...

Who am I missing :)..
Well.. It's actually a place that I am missing.. I miss Singapore for so many reasons. I've lived in this beautiful country for five years so now I am feeling a little withdrawal after almost 2 months of being home. I do hope to come back soon so I can chow down some good food, roam the clean and safe places.
I created a card yesterday using another cute stamp from the Magnolia With Love collection. Don't be so lonely Tilda! We are here to cheer you up :)

Lonely Tilda With Her Heart
Materials: Cardstock: Bazzill & American Crafts; Patterned Papers: Magnolia and Basic Grey; Flowers: iamroses; Rhinestones: Magnolia Knick Knackery; Twine and pins, Liquid pearl & Glossy Accents
Stamping: Lonely Tilda With Her Heart from Magnolia With Love collection; Memento Ink; Copic Markers, Xpress it blending paper
Tools: Magnolia dooHickeys, Spellbinder, Memory Box, Cottage Cuts, Sizzix dies

The With Love collection papers are all super beautiful if I have to say so myself! I love each and every paper in this set!

Thanks for dropping by and have a great week ahead!

Love.. love... love...

Valentine's day is coming in a few days, have you started doing your valentine projects yet?

I do not have a valentine (insert tear.. haha..) but I do enjoy the folly of the day like random people greeting you, maybe an extra treat in the restaurants on that day.. I might spend the day catching up with single friends too and maybe indulge ourselves in some cupcakes and coffee..

Here's a card for all of you. I love the versatility of Magnolia Stamps! A lot of the collections coincide with the season like Christmas, Easter, or maybe occasions like Birthdays and Weddings. But you can always use the stamps for any season or occasion! Like this little beauty from the With Love collection. I used Tilda with Heart Arrows for a Hello card to be sent to my postcrossing handmade card partner.. Hope she likes it :)

Tilda With Heart Arrows
Materials: Patterned Papers: Basic Grey; Flowers: iamroses; Cardstock: Bazzill; Rhinestones: Prima; Tulle, pearl string, felt ribbon, Glossy Accents, Stickles, Liquid Pearl, Distress Ink
Stamping: Tilda with Heart Arrows, Flower Cloud, New York, Postcard all from Magnolia Stamps With Love Collection; Memento Ink; Copic Markers; Xpress It Blending Card
Tools: Die from Simon Says Stamp

This is the Danville Wreath from Simon Says Stamp - it's really cute :)

Notice anything new in my Copic coloring? lol.. I changed it up again and tried something new.. I may stick to this for a while and then experiment again..

A new collection is coming up from Magnolia called Little Easter. Oh! I am so excited to see everything :)

Thanks guys for stopping by :)

Hello 2013!

Happy new year everybody!
I hope your 2013 is off to a new start for all of you :) As for me, well I'm taking things a bit easy nowadays.. Been busy doing some paperwork and such. I do have plans to get back to the corporate world after I've settled all my other personal stuff - acquiring a driver's license again, some identity cards, arranging the living arrangements in my own flat (ugh, I can't believe I have to spend ?? to buy appliances and furnitures!). But I have to say, it's good to be back. I've also been out and about town with old friends to eat and drink coffee with.
Before I left Singapore, I have received the last kit club for 2012 but I haven't had the chance to color them since I did not bring any tools with me when I left. But I'm finally reunited with all my craft stuff :) Don't you just love the new collection? It is just tons of cute :) So today I'd like to share the very first card I made using the adorable Bonny Tilda..

Bonny Tilda
Materials: Cardstock: Bazzill and Hero Arts; Patterned Papers: Basic Grey; Puffy Heart Stickers: K&Company; Flowers: iamroses; Distress Ink; Stickles & Liquid Pearl; Twine and Charms
Stamping: Magnolia Stamps: Bonny Tilda, Chocolat & New York from With Love Collection; Old Valentine Letter from the Valentine Collection; Memento Ink; Copic Markers; Xpress It Blending Paper
Tools: DooHickey, Memory Box & Spellbinder dies

I've seen a lot of talented ladies with a barely there stamping ink and wondered if I could do it too! I am so glad that I found an ink in my supply that I could probably work with to make the stamp appear to have no lines. The ink I used is Memento Desert Sand. I was worried at first that it would look too orange-y, but once I colored with Copic, it made the line almost disappear! Yay!

I hope you guys have a great week ahead!
