Hi everybody!
Just sharing a random card that I made a few weeks ago. Usually the Tilda's are made on a 8x8 card but I wanted to try making a 4x6 card. I actually have a lot of Tilda cut-outs which I made when I was practicing how to color the stamps using Copic markers. Copic markers are my saving grace when it comes to stamping :) I did try to color using Distress Inks - which was an epic fail.. The same with colored pencils. Although Copics are really rich when it comes to colors, once you master the strokes and the pairing of colors it's easy peasy.
Enough with the babble :) Here's the card:

Mangolia Mania Challenge - Ribbon or Lace
Hi everybody!
What happens when you don't update your blog for a week? More cards that is :)
A week ago I bought a few meters of these acetate lace from a local craft store here in Singapore. I opted for white because at least I can color it with some mists to conform with any color to coordinate the cards I am making. Although, I am not sure if I can actually mists acetate lace... But hey, white is a pretty safe color so I am good to go :)
Here's my entry for the Magnolia Mania Challenge
And here is a close-up:

Tilda on a Bike
Hi everybody!
Golly! Singapore weather is literally insanely hot! I hope a little rain comes soon to soothe down the scorching heat.
This week I have created several Magnolia cards. My favorite stamp shop in Singapore, JDA, had a sale which included Magnolia stamps. I won't say how many I bought, let's just say there will be extreme dieting happening this month to make up for the spending :) Apart from the great sale, I was also lucky to take home a couple of Hero Arts stamps during their raffle draw. So yay!
Here's one of the cards I made and I am entering this card to three challenges:
This is a pretty cool card if I say so myself because I only used Cardstock, Stamps, Distress Inks and Mists. I wanted to challenge myself and just make my own simple patterns to bring this card together.
And here are some close-ups:
I have a few more cards to share so please read on and enjoy!

One Card, 3 Challenges
Hi!
This is my first time to join 3 wonderful Magnolia stamp challenges and it's also my first time to do one card to qualify. Challenges are fun because it makes you do things that you wouldn't normally do, in my case using pink. I'm not really a fan of the color pink but I have several pink scrap stuff and these challenges are good outlets to use the product.
Here is my card submitted to the following scrap challenges:

Raving About - MFT Mini Rolled Roses
While waiting for the paper roses I ordered online to arrive, I have been using one of my favorite die cuts ever. The mini rolled roses die from My Favorite Things is my go to flowers as replacements (I got mine from Simon Says Stamp). I was so addicted that I spent one evening diecutting, rolling and hot gluing these babies. This is a thin diecut but I was able to use felt as my material (hence using hot glue). It works well with cardstock and patterned paper, but the thickest material I have tried so far is felt and it still looks pretty.
Here's a sample of a card a made (using a Magnolia stamp of course :) ) to showcase the rolled roses:

TOMIC number 6
Hi!
TOMIC number 6 is up and it's all about making a scene. The Magnolia stamps are excellent for these kinds of cards because you can mix it up. They have great sceneries & accessories to make dimensional cards. I don't have a lot of background & props stamps from Magnolia (yet..). Maybe I will reward myself with some of these gorgeous stamps soon.
I was excited to do the card but I was really stumped :) ! I got inspired to do the stair card that Marina created. So here's my simple and playful card:

TOMIC number 5
Hi!
TOMIC for this week is all about the easel cards. I love doing easel cards! It's really unique because you can put it on display after receiving the card. The first easel card I saw was a Magnolia card from the Magnolia Ink magazine and I just fell in love doing it!
I'm also excited to see the new Magnolia stamps to be released soon! Preview from the Magnolia DT looks really good!
I'm off to do more Magnolia. Thanks for looking and have a nice week ahead! :)
