Yes I am still here, still alive and breathing :) Since I started working again my life turned upside down.. I come home from work totally feeling drained and tired, if ever I'm home all I wanted to do was sleep. I've neglected all the rest of the activities that I like to do - like going out with my friends, going to the mall, CRAFTING! I guess it just took a little while for me to get used to the grind - it's especially hard that my time gets changed in the beginning, but now that my schedule is fixed (albeit odd hours at 2am - 11pm) I'm now trying to cope up.
Last month, I was honored to be invited to be the guest card designer for the Filipino Scrapbookers . I'd like to share it with all of you..
Sea Shell Tilda
Materials: Cardstock: American Crafts and Basic Grey; Patterned Papers: Magnolia; Flowers: iamroses; twine, corrugated board, cheesecloth, charm, Distress Inks, Stampendous Frantage, Gesso, pearl strings
Stamping: Sea Shell Tilda from the Sea Breeze collection; Xpress It Blending Paper, Copic markers, Memento Ink
Tools: doohickey dies, Memory Box dies
Adorable, adorable stamps from the Sea Breeze collection :)
I wanted to get them all - as usual - but since I am stuck with managing my time, I may have to push back that back for just a little bit :)
Thanks you guys for stopping by :)
This is a spectacular work of art, Pearl. Your coloring of Tilda is superb. I worked the night shift for 22 yrs. and now I'm retired and I find I have less time to craft than I had when I worked! How did I ever find time to work?????
ReplyDeleteHi Pearl! Nice to see you back crafting. I'm sure you'll get used to a new schedule in your life and find time for scrappin' (even if it won't be a lot of it). Your card is beautiful! Looking forward to see more ;)
