Tell me a joke Tilda..

Happy Sunday everyone!
I'd like to share a card with you that I made this week. I am a very slow cardmaker.. haha.. I wish my life revolved around crafts but I need to work to pay the rent.. haha.. Someday when I get my early retirement then maybe this will come true. :) ..
Back to the card, I've returned to coloring with Copics. I thought I became a bit rusty :) But how cute is this stamp? Tilda doesn't even have to tell me a joke because her costume is enough to give a smile to everybody who will see her!

I wish I knew how to dance..

.. so I can wear the same tutu as Tilda :)
The Princes and Princesses collection is really absolutely amazing :) I would love to have each and every stamp in this series but the girl has to eat .. so, I'm slowly building up this collection.
These past few cards I've done I have been using Distress Ink re-inkers for coloring. I am enjoying it a lot! At the moment my Copics are taking a back seat but they are not forgotten :) I love the Distress Ink process, it's a little slower than the Copics but the end results are really beautiful.
Here's a simple card I made today using Distress Inks..

Tilda Chiquita Banana

I’ve posted this card on my Facebook this week. It’s the first card I made colored in Distress Inks. I do have to say I have enjoyed coloring with Distress inks but it does take patience and a heat gun to put all of  these together :)  Thru process and many mistakes I’ve made I’ve learned the important basics like using the correct brush and drying time (hence the heat gun) . The paper is important too however as I am still on the learning curve, I am still using average watercolor paper in 300gsm. I will eventually invest on good paper once I’ve got the techniques at bay. But in the meantime, I am having fun and loving the process which is super important :)
Doesn’t Tilda look like the lady in the Chiquita Banana commercials?
